The Meatsack Deerisle server settings are highly customized. The loot is a little harder to find, to force you to hunt and fish and sell items to the vendors to barter for items. There are custom creatures, and events as well. Join the discord channel for more info.

Why use a community server?
Because there is no server hopping, and asshats that are duping stuff. Also, I can kick toxic players who cheat and or likely need professional counseling.
